I love Autumn!

Autumn is my favorite season and although Utah's autumn is not as good as the East Coast, there were some really pretty views this year!

I look kinda silly in this picture. You see, it had just started to rain and a big cold drop had landed on my head. It was SO cold!

So, we tried again.

And then it snowed! ICK! I am not ready for winter!

Laughing Keeps Us Young

I don't know if it is because we are so tired from work and school or if there is something new in the Provo water, but me and Daniel have caught each other saying the weirdest things! For example, the other morning when I went to wake Daniel up, instead of kissing me on the cheek he started smooching the pillow. He totally thought that the pillow was me! So lovable!

My favorite story happened just the other weekend when Daniel and I went down to Colorado to visit his parents. We stopped at a gas station and I ran into use the restroom. While I'm in there, I hear a mother come in with her son. I got nervous and started to think that maybe the mom had gone into the Men's room with her son. Soon, I heard some teenager girls come in and knew I was safe. I came out of the stall and saw a flash of someone go into the next stall, went to the sink and washed my hands. While I was washing my hands, I looked down at the floor (normally a bad thing to do in a bathroom)and saw a pair of familiar-looking flip-flops. I then thought, "Shoot, am I really in the Women's bathroom?" I ran out and double checked. Yup, I was in the right one, so that meant....

I ran over the the stall with the familiar-looking flip-flops and waited. Two seconds later a cute, adorable, husband opened the door. He looked at me and then his eyes got REAL big! He closed the door to a tiny crack and just stared at me and whimpered, "Is anyone out there?" I just roared! He was so darn cute and embarrassed and I could not stop laughing for another hour.

They say laughing keeps you young, so Daniel and I will stay younger forever!

Playing Catch Up

The last few weeks have just flown by! We packed up our stuff, moved to a bigger place, unpacked our stuff, Daniel started school, and I started a real job! Can you believe it? I'm finally working 40 hours a week and being the temporary bread winner of the family!

Our new place is wonderful! It is twice the size of our old place and Daniel finally gets his office space! No more studying at the kitchen table for him! I'm super excited to be here because I'm going to be allowed to paint the bedroom! No more dark moss green! And I finally have counter space so I can actually prepare meals! I love it here!

Daniel is in his last semester! So the next few months are going to be busy because we are both applying to graduate schools. I'm excited. There are a lot of good options out there for us!

We also got to see our best friends, Skyler and Rebekah, this past week! I miss them so much! It was great to catch up with them! Skyler, Nebraska is definitely an option!

Trip to Zion

For our anniversary, Daniel and I went down to St. George and visited Zion National Park. It was beautiful. We hiked and took a ton of pictures!

This was part of the trail up to Angles Landing. I took this picture when we were at the top. Cool huh?!

Isn't my hubby cute?

One trail we hiked had a river that you could walk through and there was this pretty waterfall!

Just plan cool!

Later, we went to the Original Pizza Factory! So yummy! I got a pesto primavera pizza that was packed with every kind of veggie you could think of! Mmmm!

We also had a chance to go see Footloose the musical at Tuacahn! It was really good. I love outdoor theaters!

I love traveling with my husband! We have so much fun together!

Still Hanging in There

The last few weeks have been pretty busy. Daniel finally took the GRE and now he is studying for the GMAT! I've been looking for a job and also studying for the GRE. We have a few Graduate Schools in mind, so we'll see where we go!

Right now, Daniel and I are excited to celebrate our One Year Anniversary on July 10! We can't believe that it was only a year ago that we were married! So, in 10 days we are going to go have some fun in St. George! I'm so excited to just relax by a pool and go hiking!

Also, Daniel and I found a new place to live. We move in August and we are going a whole 2 and a half blocks away! It is so far that I don't know if we can move all our stuff in one day! Just teasing! The distance is so short that we will still be in the same ward boundaries! I don't think that ever happens in Provo! I am so excited to move into a new place and have a little more space!

Tulips Everywhere!

One of my favorite things about spring is all the flowers that come into bloom. I love he smells in the air and the colors that brighten up the world. So, the other day, Daniel and I went to see all tulips at Thanksgiving Point. It was so beautiful, even though it was super windy! I love taking pictures of flowers, so here are a few that I took.
